… being added, and this is the VERY LAST enhancement in 57.3. What could be important enough to add to a finished release? Maybe the #1 requested enhancement for the ACES Catalog User Interface: the ability to select multiple Groups and Subgroups.
How it Works
There are two different ways to select multiple Groups and Subgroups.
- Just like the PART TYPES drop-down has a “Multiple” choice, the GROUP and SUBGROUP drop-downs will now offer the same “Multiple” choice option in their drop-downs; see sample below:
- The PART SEARCH pop-up was also modified to add a section with a three level “tree-like” menu hierarchy of Group, Subgroup and Part Type. This menu will enable users to select multiple Part Types from the menu; see sample below:
These new multiple group and subgroup options are in addition to the new feature in 57.3 called “Saving Catalog Jobs” where users can define multiple part types into any saved “job” (e.g. brake job) that can be selected over and over again for different vehicles.
57.3 is coming in October 2018. 🙂
