Release 57 – BETA Program
- The BETA Program will be extended another 4 weeks and is planned to end on 8-31-18.
- The extension is due primarily because we are about to start using a new modern “Install Shield” installer program that works well installing PW on all Windows 10 desktops.
- The new program will also be used for PW installations on all Windows 7 desktops.
- The new program will completely replace our old “Wise” Installer program.
- Getting this new installer program ready for use has been a very large effort and is just about completed.
- If we find a few install issues to resolve, or other possible BETA usage issues, we might extend the BETA Program an additional 4 weeks, with a definite end date of 9-30-18.
Release 57 – OFFICIAL VERSION
- The Official PW Release 57 is planned to be available on Sept 1st, 2018 or October 1st, 2018.
- In September some customers will be contacted to upgrade based upon need or request.
- Thereafter, starting in October, all customers will be contacted for scheduling upgrades.
- The order of scheduling will primarily be based upon when you upgraded to 56. Meaning, if you upgraded early to 56, you will probably be scheduled to upgrade early to 57.
- All 57.3 upgrades are planned to be completed for all customers by April 30th, 2019, a six month effort.
