Did You Know…

… If you’re still setting your stocking levels manually, the Set Min Max Order Point part utility can be used to calculate new MIN, MAX and / or ORDER POINT point quantities for you, based on selected sales history periods?

The calculated quantities can be updated to the part table or reported only.

So, by Line, optionally filter the parts affected and select all, or certain relevant periods within the part sales histories.

PartsWatch uses the number of days the store is open, how important each period is, the quantity needed per car and the number of days the stock is needed for. And to get more finite, parts with a History value greater than / less than a certain value can be protected by overriding the calculated value.

The system takes the histories, divided by the # of days in the period, and multiplies by the weight % to get the weighted units sold per day, as you can see in the formula below.

(History Selected / # days for period) * Weight % = Weighted Units Sold per day)
